I don’t appreciate buttery and oaky Chardonnay. This excellent Chardonnay has reduced the traditional characters and highlights
notes of honeysuckle, apple and Meyer lemon. Flavors of sickle pear, citrus and a dash of salt. A subtle blend of mineral and acidity. Excellent pairing with Thanksgiving. — a year ago
Warm and toasty with a bit of a back of the throat cayenne pinch. It’ll week on the structure but good juice and warm round fruit flavors. Good vanilla and some baking spices as well. Big and brassy, hot as in the alcohol coming off of this thing is noticeable. — 2 years ago
Black fruit bomb not much spice but like a lot. Med body with good length. — 7 months ago
Very nice Santa Cruz Zin. — a year ago
We last had a bottle on 11th July 2020 and this time it showed better. Red savoury fruits mainly cherry and a plum skin note. Still with that burnt bracken note which is not unattractive. On the palate like Bass Phillip but more succulent. The Macedon Ranges just north of Melbourne is a proven good area for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay - a neighbour being the highly credentialed Bindi Wines. — 2 years ago
v18. Shocked, was expecting deep and dark, and got fresh and bright! Dusty, smoked meat and sharp cedar nose. Fresh , slightly sour cherry fruit. Bright, clean, slate finish. Nicely balanced. Unique. — 6 months ago
Dark, intense. Smells like cotton candy with hidden aromas of dark plum and black berry balanced by late spring flowers, pepper, cloves and vanilla. There is a hint of tannin, however this wine delivers more nuances leaving you completely satisfied and content. — 8 months ago
