Beautiful! Touch of flint/reduction when first poured. Asia pear, wood spice, marzipan, wood wax. Generous mouthfeel but then a focused finish of a balance of acid, phenolic tightness and mineral. A long finish. — 4 years ago
Solid Bordeaux. What makes it special is that we bought it at the Carrefour in Jinqiao, Pudong Shanghai, probably the best French wine supermarket collection in all of Asia. — 5 years ago
Powerful aroma and taste. Prune etc. black fruits, sour and acidic. Slightly chocolate nuance. It would match with sweet sour spicy cuisine in Southeast Asia like Thailand or fried food. 2015 @1300, xuaduo -, 210928-211001 — 3 years ago
Perfect V-Day wine from Monterey — starts out with some botanicals and softly rolls across the palate into lapsang souchong and coffee beans. Despite the Italian name, I feel I am on a lush hilltop in Southeast Asia. Not an everyday drinker due to price, but an ideal special occasion wine, particularly one falling on Friday fish day. — 4 years ago
We found this to be a delightful neutral white. Loved it with the white fish — 5 years ago
Black cherry and Asia spice aromas, delicious rich flavors with incredibly long finish. Wonderful wine that still age another 2-5 yrs — 6 years ago
Drank on 18/12/20 at Asia Grand. Dinner hosted by KY Teo over lost of bet to Lobang, Biden vs Trump. It’s Avery feminine Burgundy wine, nice bouquet, long finishes, pleasant & enjoyable to drink. — 3 years ago
Woah. New go to beer alert for that crisp rice style beer I encountered backpacking all over Southeast Asia in my early 20s.
Airy, light, crisp, slight pear afternote. None of the weird malty aftertaste you sometimes get with these. Love it for classic, simple style beer to go with sushi or fried chicken. — 4 years ago
Finally got to try this iconic blend. Wonderfully balanced, smooth, and well structured. Perfect with our Christmas Eve dinner before heading out to Asia. — 5 years ago

Actually surprisingly pleasant. Here I am in Cambodia and clearly the only guest asking for the secret wine list. They must have purchased this 2012 a long time ago, but stored it well. Got a nice level of remaining acidity with a decent white Burgundy overall flavor profile. Not a lot of depth going on here, but for a random evening in SE Asia there is a lot worse I could drink. This is pleasant — a year ago
