Really good lean cooler, let it decent a bit to unwind and open up. I have no idea why it’s rated so low. You have to be down with a wine that isn’t only fruit. — 7 years ago
"Poiema" by Eugenio Rosi. From, Vallagrina, Trentino-Alto Adige, IGT
Made from the Marzemino grape variety.
Brilliant color, an elegant wine.
Aged for 12 months in large oak and cherry barrels. It presents itself with an impenetrable ruby color, and expresses aromas of blackberries and black cherries, tobacco, cloves and cocoa powder, revealing a well-structured and opulent sip, with smooth tannins, enlivened on the finish by a persistent balsamic trail.

Slight funk on the nose with hints of mushrooms. Leathery with slight acid to finish. Not much tannins so really good with light beef dishes (carpaccio and Tartarus, etc…). Good wine to have for dinner parties. — 5 years ago
Light golden color. The nose is of white fruits, herbs, slight honey. The taste is fruity, fresh and dry. After taste is short but intensive and pleasant. By all means a great wine to drink with a light lunch on a hot summer Saturday. It gave me pleasure. — 6 years ago

Collio Bianco blend of Friulano, Chardonnay and Sauvignon. Deep golden color. Aromas of beeswax, white flowers, chalk, green apple and a slight bit of funk. Fully ripe green pear and apple on the palate along with notes of honey, raw almonds and sweet spices. Long and very mineral driven finish. Well balanced and very textural. (Skin contact fermentation?) Slightly oxidized and a bit reductive. Interesting. — 4 months ago
