Delicious pet nat with a nice hit of barnyard funk — a year ago
A refreshing white blend of indigenous grapes fro Portugal; Alvarinho (Albarino), Loureiro, Arinto, and Azal. Very light, dry but with abundance of floral, lemon peel tangerine and green apple notes with nice acidity and a gentle touch of carbonation finish. This is a wine that is vinified to be consumed very young. — a year ago

Vinho Verde region of Portugal. Light body, but just enough acid to carry this wine. Smells like cucumber skin, faint candy in the nose. Muted soft grapefruit and lime, flowery (lime blossom?), cucumber. — 5 years ago

Sável Vinho Verde White – DOC Vinho Verde, Portugal 🇵🇹
Overview
A classic low-alcohol Vinho Verde white built for refreshment, vibrancy, and easy enjoyment. Typically made from traditional regional grapes such as Loureiro, Trajadura, Arinto, and Azal, this style focuses on citrus drive, light effervescence, and mouthwatering acidity rather than complexity or weight. At only ~9.5% ABV with a gentle natural spritz, this is the definition of a summer wine, energetic, thirst-quenching, and dangerously easy to drink. Simple by design, joyful by execution.
Aromas & Flavors
Fresh lime zest, green apple, lemon peel, and underripe pear. Light white blossom and faint herbal tones. Subtle saline snap and crushed citrus notes. Clean, bright fruit profile with a refreshing, slightly fizzy lift on the palate.
Mouthfeel
Light-bodied, crisp, and lively. Bright acidity keeps everything snappy and refreshing. Gentle spritz adds lift and texture without heaviness. Clean, short, refreshing finish that invites the next sip immediately.
Food Pairings
Perfect with: Grilled shrimp, ceviche, oysters, and seafood tacos. Light salads, citrus vinaigrettes, and fresh herbs. Sushi, sashimi, and light Asian dishes. Soft cheeses, summer vegetables, and picnic fare. Also shines beautifully as a pure patio pounder.
🍷 Personal Pick
This is exactly what Vinho Verde should be, refreshing, joyful, and insanely easy to drink. Whether you’re sipping in the sun or pairing casually with food, it just works. Dangerously delicious 😋

Incredibly hard to stop drinking. The lychee and mango nose is fantastic, but it's really the crunchy and tropical flavors on the finish that demand the next sip. BBQ's and pool parties could all use this juice. Soft and easy yet still mouthwatering, this is hedonism at its finest - Which is basically why we're all here, right
Located in the relatively warmer Basto sub-zone of the Vinho Verde, Quinta da Raza is making some delicious, original examples of Vinho Verde, exploring grape varieties beyond the usual array of grapes in the region. In this case, Azal is the second most widely planted varietal in Minho (Vinho Verde) region. It is unusual to see varietal bottling. This is a lip smacking wine, you can see that this varietal brings the zip to Vinho Verde blends. It is not all bracing with acidity; there are some expressive citrus and chilled tropical tones, minerality, and a faint fizz that the wines are famous for. A fun alternative to the classic blends from the region. — 6 years ago

Fresh, sweet, & crisp. Perhaps some notes of green grapes, a hint of Granny Smith apples but not super tart or anything, and honeydew — 22 days ago
