Love this Malvasia, Tocai, Chardonnay blend. Medium to Medium plus in weight, gorgeous acid forward balance, long, scratchy finish. These guys have become a must-buy” for the past few years...and this vintage brings it home with a Greek meal screaming with garlic, lemon, olive oil and vinegar. These Cal/Ital blends bring me so much pleasure. “Opa!” — 4 years ago
Great Malvasia. Such a contrast from arbe garbe, love drinking this grape solo. Enjoyed at icob. — 6 years ago
A little like a chard in the mouth. Smooth, supple. Well balanced vanilla — 8 years ago
Nice skin contact Malvasia. Not as ripe as arbe garbe, but nice mouth feel and floral notes. Enjoyed at Bar Mezanna with Alanna and Mom. — 6 years ago
Malvasia, Tocai Friuli, and Chardonnay blend that has become an old and trusted friend over the past few years. The 2019 is medium gold, bit higher ABV than past vintages at 14.1, and the weight on the palate is considerable though lively and not cloying. Round, sweet, juicy fruit with notes of melon, peach, and lychee dominate, but there’s a hint of funky shroomy bottom that balances things out before the creamy, lengthy finish. I’m so happy that these Cal-Ital blends are gaining a foothold in the New World. This wine rocks with Mediterranean cuisine like lamb/chicken Kabobs with dilled herby rice and creamy hummus. Solid QPR and I’m finding that as summer finally sneaks in, I’m popping more and more white table blends. — 3 years ago
A pure delight summer sipper. Medium weight, nice crisp texture. I am falling in love with a few Sonoma Italian blends. Clean, largely unoaked, food-friendly wines that let the food shine while elevating fruit, acid, alcohol to a whole new level. Perfect for the first 90+ Chicago summer day. — 5 years ago

This is Malvasia. There is noticeable oak that really detracts from the pretty florals and fruit but this is a good food wine. — a year ago
