Angels Landing

Napa Sauvignon Blanc 2018

A pleasant Sauvignon Blanc with tropical flavors of papaya and grapefruit. I would have liked a little more acidity in the finish. — 3 years ago

Sonoma County Rosé Blend 2021

Very light, almost too light but super easy to drink. Would be a great wine for someone who isn’t sure about rosé. — 3 months ago

Beamsville Bench Gewürztraminer 2018

If your wife is like mine asking for a fruity wine, but you want something with some sort of masculinity in it; it being a smooth dry taste. This is it. — a year ago

Two Hands

Gnarly Dudes Barossa Valley Shiraz 2016

I recently review the 2016 Angels’ Share Shiraz, however the Gnarly Dudes packs a bigger punch. Deep and dark purple color with aromas of fresh blue/red fruits with spicy notes. The palate revealed rich ripe fruits, plum and blueberry with firm tannins and acidity to match. I noted some cacao, toasty oak, vanilla and black pepper on a lingering finish. If you open a bottle, give the wine a few minutes to let it approach it’s beauty. — 4 years ago

Angels Ink Wine

Central Coast Pinot Noir

I don’t usually drink Pinot Noir but this paired great with homemade ricotta meatballs with sauce and pasta. A little peppery at first but after a short decant the plum and cherry really comes out. — 3 months ago
