Nice light cab. Would buy again — 2 years ago
a brief romance a year or so ago with 96 Cuvée Angeline and I was hooked on Lassalle. 2012 Special Club recently was way too young and it was recommended I try 2008. It tastes younger than 2012.
A faceful of citrus, it’s a very brash wine that hasn’t even reached adolescence. The fruit is clean and bright, the wine complex and long, but put it away for a decade. — 4 years ago

Medium-deep ruby color.
Aromas of cassis, vanilla, soft oak spice.
Off-dry. Flavors of cassis, vanilla, soft licorice. Medium-rich, velvety tannins. Oak is subtle, allowing the grapes to shine.
Intensity: 4/5
Complexity: 2/5
Balance: 4/5
Finish: 4/5 — a year ago
fortunately recently found a small supply for $55/b, less than release price, and it’s even more delicious due to that price. Just scrumptious crunchy bright yellow orchard fruit and citrus, not at all oxidative or yeasty, just lovely, fresh, and delicious. This is real bright and fresh. The 2011 wasn’t at this level, 96 was/is stupendous, and I’m hooked. I don’t know who Angeline is but I love her very much. — 3 years ago
I think the J. Lassalle Cuvee Angeline has been my best bubbly yet; this NV Cachet OR is not to be ignored! Once it warms and opens a bit this is beautiful for the $40 through Kermit Lynch Wines! Apples, Pear, Minerals, Croissants, Kiwifruit!
Happy New Year to everyone in the Delectable Community (this is my New Years Eve). Cheers! 🥂 — 4 years ago

It’s Lassalle, not Lasalle, and it’s superb wine. — 3 days ago
