Montes

Purple Angel Colchagua Valley Carménère Petit Verdot 2021

Inky dark color. Tomato leaf, coffee, and mint on the nose. More pyrazine notes on the palate along with cocoa, cranberry, leather, black pepper, molasses, raisins, coffee, tobacco, and dark cherry. High acid, high alcohol, medium plus tannins, medium plus body, and long finish. Despite all the tertiary notes, drinks vibrant and fresh. Drink now or hold. — 9 days ago

Cherry Camp Syrah 2017

Beautiful Sonoma Coast Syrah. Won’t ever be confused with an Old World Syrah but no less enjoyable. — 3 years ago

Deep ruby color. Aromas of dark fruit, leather, menthol and baking spices. Black cherry and black raspberry on the palate with hints of dark chocolate, forest floor, black licorice and coffee. Intensely fruit forward finish. Soft tannins and creamy texture. Thanks for the sample, Kase! — 7 months ago
