Had with mom on her bday. Liked it a lot. Very smooth. Probably from Costco $25 — a month ago
v15. Delicious! Dried herb and crushed blackberry grape nose. Fresh, rich, blackberry, soft plum and slightly tar fruit. Smooth dried herb, earthy, chocolate finish. — 2 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. Sourced from a single vineyard in Grezzana, the 2016 Case Vecie pours a deep garnet color with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe and dried red, black and blue fruits: Bing cherry, Craisins, pomegranate, Fig Newtons, red flowers, fine cocoa, espresso, gentle warm spices and a mix of organic and inorganic earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. The alcohol is high. However, it’s remarkably balanced considering its extraordinary ABV, 16.5%!! That being said, you would hardly know it…until it got you turnt! For real though, I don’t drink a lot of Amarone…but this is damned good. Drink now through 2041. — 24 days ago
Classic amarone: Prunes, figs, raisins, dark chocolate notes with great firm tannins but still fresh and acidity. Brighter than other years but definitely a tasty wine that pairs well with steak or certain desserts. Definitely will try other vintages. — 2 months ago
Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Red fruits on the nose with light oak, vanilla, licorice and chocolates.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, blueberries, fresh cherries, light oak, spices, chocolates, dark coffee, peppercorn, earth and black tea.
Short finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This young Amarone is a little underwhelming. Not as bold as I expected it to be, with mostly red fruits. Feels more like a Ripasso than an Amarone.
Tangy and spicy with nice complexity and balance.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years.
A blend of Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella.
15.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Quelle douceur veloutée et finale persistante en bouche. Plus dispendieux cependant et taux de sucre élevé. — a month ago
This was one of the treats of the festival. It was in perfect shape and somewhere around its precipice.
The comment made by the women representing it was, she stopped pouring it to many as they simply didn’t appreciate and or understood what they were just poured. If you understand how this is made and the extra process to make good examples, you develop #respect
Not a wine for everyone, but amazing with this kind of age and older.

Light and flowery on the nose and an opening splash of oranges followed by medley of plum, anise, fig and apple. The finish is moderate in acidity with hint of smoke. — 17 days ago
