From the "mother" of Alibi. Glad to see Senka Tenant back on the BC wine scene. Is this the only Albariño & Verdejo in BC? Shame. Tasty stuff. — 10 years ago
Slightly grass with tropical fruit notes. Good acid, nice balance — 2 years ago
Though widely known in Portugal, I was still quite surprised to find it at a major supermarket in Brussels... for €5.50, which is pretty much the lowest threshold here. That said, this is a wine that has enough strength to withstand deep red meats (including heavier game), but also fares well with lighter cheeses. In a sense, it’s rather gourmand, too, so you’ll easily drink half a bottle on its own (and all by yourself) before you even realise it. At three years of age, it’s pretty much ready to drink out of the bottle (though some aeration won’t hurt, either), making it the ideal bring-along wine when going to a dinner party or hosting a larger group. A definite keeper! — 6 years ago

Fist up in a series of cuvées I had from the same producer over the span of a week. A bit of funk on the nose that initially got me a bit worried, but that blew off quickly to reveal lime zest and sea spray. Soft and round mouthfeel which balances out well with the solid acidity savory saline aspects of the wine. A great new discovery! — 5 years ago

2007 vintage. Tight nose upon opening and decanting so let it sit for two hours. Definitely helped. Zero sediment. Rhubarb and brown sugar on the nose after that grace period. Light-medium body. Plenty of youthful fruit topped off with a big punch of spices on the finish. Not showing perfectly currently (maybe another 1-2 hours in the decanter?) but still pretty darned special. That Bouchard consistency and push definitely evident. The color confirmed the age but the amount of concentrated fruits provided a watertight alibi. A tad mysterious but feel this offering is still ascending vs descending. — 2 years ago
