We had a delicious wine at an English manner called Beaverbrook: UK. — 2 months ago
Dry. Robust. A little fruity, but not sweet. Hint tobacco. — 2 months ago
Hot nose, big floral, fat berry, tar, chocolate. Medium dry tannins, lots of oak, takes away a bit from the fruit. Tight. Needs to breathe. I’ll wait to score. After two hours it’s put on weight. Fruit came out and tannins became well integrated. I’d have given it a 87-88 on opening but now it’s a solid 92. — 2 days ago
Fragrant, deep purple color. Earthy scent. Medium body, light tannins on the finish. — 2 months ago
Trader Joe’s. Delightful. Bright with notes of tart cherry and clove. Complex on the front end, smooth finish. Really enjoyed! — 22 days ago
Blue-red berries layered with a pervasive malty sweetness and cocoa-accented depths. Red jolly ranchers rolled in iron and mineral dust. Robust; a bit inky, but light-footed; lively acids running through. Classy bottle; aging beautifully with a long way to go. — 2 months ago
