Tropical fruits in chilling mountain air. Perfect kick back and relax Chenin. Great minerality, cold spring/mountain air element combined with ripe peaches, tropical fruits, crisp green apple, chamomile, white flowers and incredible, enveloping acidity. This wine was made for cheese- Port Salut, Humbolt Fog or St Agur. Slays most Chenin in its price range. — 8 years ago

Kessem Red Blend 2012

Superb wine. Redolent of the terroir. Tobacco, black olive, spice box. A wonderfully crafted Bordeaux blend that does not in any way taste like a Bordeaux. 40 percent Cab; 30 percent Merlot; 25 percent cab franc; 5 percent petit Verdot. No new barrels. — 9 years ago
