I’ve read some poor reviews of this whisky and I have no idea where they are coming from. This thing is explosive. The nose is incredibly complicated - caramel, vanilla, stone fruit, acetone, cotton candy, orange zest and more. The tongue is just as rich - more orange, tons of vanilla, hints of tropical fruit, just a bit of brininess - spectacular. My bottle says it is 63% alcohol, but I wouldn’t have guessed higher that 55. Don’t get me wrong, you feel the burn, but I felt no need to dilute it. Absolutely winner. — a year ago
