Terroir Roth Lay Uhlen Grosse Lage R Riesling

I start any conversation about Riesling suspicious of claims that this one is dry, honest, and not sweet, promise. This met and exceeded expectations—dry, minerally, but with complexity and challenge. Go ahead. — 4 months ago

Winninger Schieferterrassen Riesling Auslese 2013

17/20 (92/100) Сладкий аромат с тонами яблочного и абрикосового варенья, лимонного мармелада и мёда. Умеренная кислотность, едва справляется с балансом. Неплохо. — 2 years ago

Röttgen 1er Riesling 2008

This is really unlike any other Trocken Riesling from the Mosel area.
Very rich and suave, tropical fruit, unctuous low-acidity mouthfeel, hints of liquorice-root and curry-powder, grilled pineapple and passionfruit.
Wonderful.

Röttgen Reserve VDP Grosse Lage White Blend 2013

Peach 🍑 candy. Apricot marmalade. Tropical and mineral notes. Well integrated acids. A rich and velvety palate and once again a long, mouthwatering finish. World class. — 3 years ago

Creamy-fruity, gooseberries and ripe pineapple with a distinguised acidity-bitter in the end. Lovely! — 2 months ago

Delectable Wine
9.0

Apple, lime and honeydew melon are laced with fennel and mint on the nose, and the lusciously juicy, silken palate displays a lovely combination of cooling and nippy herbal notes, the latter represented by coriander seed and cress. At 12.5% alcohol, this is a relatively full as well as lush Riesling, but its stimulating and refreshing finish manages to evince a welcome hint of buoyancy. Peach and citrus fruits, and a boatload of minerals, this grand wine talks to your senses. Hinting at high end Burgundy yet remains all Mosel. Very HL. From magnum. — 2 years ago
