Smooth buttery fruity wine with a kick of citrus to balance it. It's got a lingering minerality that adds a slightly savoury finish to balances the passionfruit.
At £11 this feels just about worth the price but you could find as good a touch cheaper, for example the Majestic definition Sauv Blanc, which is fruitier.
In short, a great example of a Sauv and well worth drinking. — a month ago
Tognights wine is the 2018 Clos Henry Vineyard Clos Petit Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, NZ. Made with organically grown grapes.
On the nose is citrus notes, lime, melon, grapefruit, nectarines, white peach skins, kiwi fruit and minerality.
On the palate you will find lime, tangerine, green apple, grapefruit, celery, saline, wet concrete and Loire minerality.
This wine is medium in body with good refreshingly good balance and electric medium + to high acidity that folds right into a fresh crisp long finish. A beautiful New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with a Loire Valley flair. Have a great start to your weekend and please be safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂 — 2 months ago
YUM. Fruity start, smooth middle, and a syrupy linger on the tongue. So drinkable. It's really fruit and more ish. At £10 it's well worth the money. — 18 days ago

Delicious prototypical pet nat. Great price. — a month ago
Straw-hued. Aromas of bell pepper, cream, grapefruit, guava, pear, and tangerine. Light body and medium-high acidity. The nose presents a garden of citrus and herbs softened by malolactic fermentation. Mouthfeel is smooth with a long, balanced, refreshing finish of wet stone. From the Loire Valley; subtler than its Marlborough counterpart, but equally delicious. — 2 months ago

The floral smell is so beautiful I find myself just smelling the wine for longer periods of time. The taste is just as nice with a spicy liquorice feel with ripe plum and I sence some vanilla. — a month ago
