Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Rich central coast Pinot that still delivers some earthy backbone. Would benefit from more age but delicious as is. — 2 months ago

"1772" Edna Ranch Vineyard Pinot Noir 2018

Ruby in color with medium intensity and a wide reddish rim.

Fruity nose with bing cherries, red currants, light wood, spices, light earth, herbs and dark coffee.

Medium bodied and soft with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with cherries, sweet raspberries, plums, earth, spices, light wood, tobacco leaf, peppercorn and herbs.

Nice length on the finish with soft tannins and red chili pepper.

This is a very enjoyable Pinot Noir from Edna Valley in California. Fruit forward and nicely balanced with an elegant mouth feel.

Gentle and very tasty. Soft, smooth and spicy. Easy drinking and good by itself as a sipping wine.

This three-year-old is showing good potential, and will age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years. Showing nice complexity already.

As it opens up, soft tannins come in and give it good structure.

Grapes come from a Single Vineyard and were aged in French Oak barrels for 9 months (19% new).

I paired it with a cheese plate.

13.4% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

$70.

It seems you had a good tasting experience with this one but given the name, I'm not surprised 😂

"1772" Edna Ranch Vineyard Chardonnay 2018

Pretty golden in color.

Strong nose of citrus, oak, vanilla, Indian spices, lemons, apples, pears, light earth and minerals.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with lemons, apples, pears, light vegetables, earth, spices and white pepper.

Nice finish with spices and limes.

This is a very nice Chardonnay from Edna Valley in California. Nicely balanced with a smooth mouthfeel.

Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up.

Showing nice balance between the oak and the fruits, with nice complexity.

This Single Vineyard will age nicely in the next five years.

I paired it with a charcuterie board. A delicious wine.

13.4% alcohol by volume.
