Absolutely love this. So food friendly, doesn’t need decanting. Smooth with red fruit that isn’t tart or hollow. TBL — 3 months ago

Estate Grown Sleepy Hollow Vineyard Chardonnay 2016

A highly perfumed nose evokes fresh honeydew melon Meyer lemon pear nectar and white flowers and a smoky mineral nuance builds as the wine opens up. Sappy concentrated and incisive on the palate offering intense citrus and orchard fruit flavors and chamomile and saffron flourishes. A dusty mineral element adds vibrant lift and cut to the impressively long sharply delineated finish which leaves behind a suave floral note. — 5 months ago

Estate Grown Cave Fermented Finch Hollow Vineyard Chardonnay 2017

YES!!! The standard of what a California Chardonnay should be. Oaky and buttery, but in just the right amount. Light and fresh. A splurge to be sure, but life is short, treat yourself! — a month ago

Calalta

Davvero Riesling 2018

Meyer lemon, lemon curd flambé, very slight hint of acetone. Light and crisp, but hollow. — 3 months ago

Domaine des Croix (David Croix)

Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru Chardonnay 2016

Pop and pour. Still way too young, but a solid Corton-Charly. On the nose: soft mango, lime, oak toast, struck match, charcoal and black pepper. On the palate: good acidity, slightly thin, but lemon oil, green apple, black pepper. Only complaint is that this is slightly hollow on the mid-palate at this stage. Otherwise, everything is in its place..maybe time will set everything straight. — 4 months ago
