Classic aged zin from some of the oldest existing vines in the USA. Probably a bit past peak, but no need to hurry up in drinking these as it should hold for another decade. Mega 90’s bottle art, complete with super tall bottle. — 2 months ago
Here I am in Zion National Park. While my pizza was being made in a wood-fired brick oven, I'm listening to a kitchen staff member playing a 12 string Fender acoustic guitar IN THE KITCHEN while sipping an Alta Vins. Domus Pensi 2013. Delicious blend. Paired with a roasted vegetable pizza.....sublime. No one expect d this. Buy this wine. Please. You'll love it. — 3 years ago
From the DOC Noto Nero d'Avola (Sicily) to my parent's table in order to mitigate the legumes gloom that springs out of a winter beans soup bowl - "pasta e fagioli"- so eloquent in his humble celestiality.
Pierpaolo Messina's the producer, Marabino's name of the winery. What a pomegranates plot like! Same succulence of a "blood orange" squeezed by this red wine originated from vineyards rooted on such a white soil "terra ianca"! A fertile land cultivated with art wisdom and awareness, all qualities though, applied with energetic measures by Pierpaolo who's inspired at - both practical and theoretical - some sound principles in the biodynamic agriculture arousal. — 5 years ago
July 2, 2020. Dinner w/ Jack D & KK. Goodbye to KK ☹️. Purchased at the vineyard May 2019. My favorite Prosecco vineyard to visit, beautiful wine and art. This brut is delicate with fruit (hints of apple) and floral aromas. This was my last bottle, can’t wait to return! — 3 months ago
