Dry farmed savory white. $12. Great wine for the value. Daniel loved — 2 days ago
Interesting Garnacha/Syrah Blend from Catalonia. Intense aromas of red and black fruit with notes of minerals, stones and baking spices. Dried (intense) red and black berry flavors along with hints of toast and those baking spices. A bit of a green leafy quality which is quite pleasant. Creamy texture. Fine and velvety tannins and nice ruby color. Harmonious and well balanced. Excellent QPR. — 5 days ago
Olivier Riviere La Bastia 2019, one of Riojas young guns and a big part of the postmodern revolution of the region. Le Bastid is a 90% Viura, 10% Garnacha Blanca, fermented and matured in 500 liter French oak barrels.
With resemblance to a good Burgundy the wine opens up with ripe white stonefruit (plum juice, white peaches) and a lemongrass herbiness. Followed by a whiff of toast and nuts that lies over a stoney minerality. Good energy on the palate with a fresh acidity and savoury qualities on the mid palate that brings dimension and complexity through the finish.
Paired with an improvised salmon and shrimp casserole in a mushroom infused velouté topped with fried parsley and sourdough croutons.
Serve it at 10-12 degree in a burgundy glass

Husky, breathy on first pour. Ok I mean musky. Pretty delicious, hard attack softens to mellow but bright finish. Maybe a little sticky. — 6 days ago

From terrific wine maker Maggie Harrison, a Rosé like no other. It drinks almost like a natural red Burgundy. It reminded me of Prieure Roch Le Cloud or Sylvain Pataille Marsannay. Good depth to it and nicely textured showing a cool minerality, balanced acidity, cherry bubblegum, mandarin orange and a touch of damp earth and Asian spice. I had it left out and off of ice and treated it like a red. Seemed to be the right move as it becomes more expressive the less cold it is. Super unique wine and happy to have finally tried it! Great stuff. — 14 hours ago
One of our yakima wines. Deep flavor but light and cooling to the tongue. Light tannins and light fruit but still full flavored. Really good! — 15 days ago
Well this is delightful! Infinitely drinkable, and at £8 a bottle it's perfect for fish and chips in a Friday night. The viognier adds little interest that makes it not too boring, whilst not being too showy. I will def be buying again. — 2 days ago
Blend of 50% Garnatxa and 50% Garnatxa Peluda from two plots in Vilalba dels Arcs. Fermented and aged for 9 months in 5,000 liter foudres. Expressive nose with beautiful aromas of red fruit and hints of spices. Smooth, balanced. — 15 days ago
