Sourdough with blueberry, dried black currant, thyme, mint, black nigella sativa seed, black sugarless cake, and violet fragrances. Inky black color with a sedimentary side, but tar, graphite, baker's chocolate, espresso bean, licorice, forest floor biomass, black olive, and smoky black currant forever. Great wine from a storied vineyard! — 8 years ago
Nice blend of 62% cab and 38% cabernet franc. 2014 — 6 years ago
68/32 Cab Merlot blend. Mostly top Red Mountain vineyards, but a small amount of Rattlesnake Hills gives this the Columbia Valley AVA. Fleshy juicy red currant & plum notes across the nose and palate. A (mostly) under the radar producer who makes great wines. — 7 years ago
Smoky blackberry, forrest biomass, cinnamon and vanilla, but in harmony with currants, cedar, opened Indian gum, cat o nine tails, dense, layers of grape reduction, intense blackberry, cedar and endless layers of inner tube, graphite bliss! — 8 years ago
Perfumey, big red fruit.
Big, crunchy red fruit, tar, earth notes, with long tannic finish — 7 years ago
This was a full, rich wine: aromatically open with a mix of red raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, dark chocolate, sweet mint, and a savoriness like balsamic roasted vegetables, the flavors were well integrated and intense on the palate, supported by resolved silky tannins, a full body, and moderate acidity that I wish were a bit higher to balance a slightly bitter phenolic bite I got on the finish. From my favorite producer in Washington State, which is also one of my favorite regions for Bordeaux varieties. — 9 years ago

Enjoyable claret. Juicy lively but jammy. Nice black cherry, some savory notes. Decent length. — 5 years ago
