Wow. Nose of baked apple pie, apple phyllo dough. Insane mineral, slate and pure vanilla extract. Slight hint of petrol now with air and as it gets warmer. Palate is so compact, acidic and beguilingly fresh after 22 years. Long with terrific dry extract. Honestly this is young. Let’s see what air does.

Notes of pineapple and honey. Decent acidity to balance out the sweetness so it's truly offdry, although more sugary than other offdrys at this same ABV. Paired beautifully with a pad Thai. Was also a surprisingly good companion to a cheese plate. Really nice for the price. — 4 months ago
