Clear purple but not opaque. Petrol, earth and tobacco on the nose. Elegant and smooth with layers of tobacco, boysenberry and led pencil with a long elegant earthy finish. Really elegant. Enjoyed it thoroughly. — 5 years ago

A sensual, tantalizing love note laced in blossoming plumes of graphite dust, succulent plums, plump blackberries, juicy blueberries, Christmas spices from Granny’s cabinet, and fresh eucalyptus. Indeed, hedonistic wines can be quite good. Some of them, however, lean towards being a bit too extracted and rich, especially in their youth like this 2016. Alas, this was high quality and balanced.
