Echo de Lynch-Bages Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2009

Better than the last bottle of this we had - really drinking quite well tonight with a 2 hour decant. Great balance of fruit and acid and earth. Slightly ripe and whatnot but with the age things have evened out. Very tasty. — 2 months ago

Pla de Gates Negre Garnacha 2019

We both love this. Smooth, light to medium bodied, with well defined flavors. Had with Greek food and it held its own. Nice and enjoyable on its own. Need more. C13 $28 — 4 months ago

Château Lynch-Bages

Blanc de Lynch-Bages White Bordeaux Blend

Incredible white Bordeaux, amazingly creamy like a Chardonnay with a smooth oakiness but retains its earthiness and brightness. Easily a favorite. — a month ago

Château Ormes de Pez

Saint-Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

2019 vintage. An estate owned by the Cazes family (Lynch Bages, Haut Batailley). A blend of Merlot (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), Cabernet Franc (7%) and Petit Verdot (3%). Less flashy compared to the Capbern 2019 tasted yesterday, give it some time to open up. Even with the high Merlot percentage, it has more of a dark Cabernet Sauvignon personality with black fruit and a serious, slightly severe tannic backbone. Abv. 14,5 %. — 4 months ago
