Best Wine I have ever had. It's the first wine to allow me to think of wine differently. It's very buttery with soft citrus notes. It paired incredibly well with seafood. Truly unforgettable — 4 years ago

The wine producer Poggio dei Gorleri, from the small hamlet Gorleri, is located high above the Ligurian coast near Imperia, called the Ligure di Ponente, Italy. The producers’ focus is predominantly on the Pigato grape, delivering minerally, white fruit, very fresh white wines. This Shalok stands out from the white wines produced. Made of 100% Granaccia/Grenache/Alicante, this wine is bursting with red fruits. Quite dark with flavours of berry/blackberry fruit, some chocolate, some wood, with very smooth tannines. Only 1,122 bottles produced. — 4 years ago

Love it. Rounded fruit profile supported by an acidic finish. Opentuesdaywines.com — 3 months ago
