Cantina Conselve

Ambasciatore Friularo (Raboso Piave) 2014

2014. Beautiful nose. Complex and layered. Full bodied, long length. Dense. Like it a lot. Touch of va but just enough to add flavor. — 24 days ago

Romano Dal Forno

Monte Lodoletta Amarone della Valpolicella Corvina Blend 2015

The best Amarone I have ever had! Blend of Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta and Croatina. Dark ruby color with a hint of red around the rim. Lovely aromas of black fruit, violets, baking spices, and cocoa. Full pallet of dried fig, black plums, black tea, and herbs. Earth and mineral notes on the very long finish. Creamy texture. Tannins are a bit chewy but not over top. Everything about this wine is totally in harmony and no one flavor dominates. Unbelievable! Thank you for sharing this one Kasey and Petey! — 10 days ago

Monte Dall'Ora

San Giorgio Alto Valpolicella Classico Superiore Corvina Blend 2015

N: smashed strawberries, tobacco, licorice, mascarello cherries, dirt,
P: Nice tannic grip, Black cherries, lots of earth, a buoyant frame, definitely concrete and old fourdes. I’m so glad to have found this. As Louis/Dressner says, if you know all the grapes they grow, you’re probably a master of wine.

Valdo for Life Lovers Brut "Floral Edition 3.0" Nerello Mascalese Rosé

This lovely pink sparkler carries a nose of ripe strawberries and flowers, while the palate has loads of fresh acidity and flavors of red fruit. The bubbles are numerous, but enjoy them before they disappear. This is a festive bubbly, suitable for any occasion that calls for some fun. — 6 days ago

La Rocca Soave Garganega 2020

Candied lemon, poached pears and peaches, yellow flowers, delicate touches of spice, vanilla cream.
In my book, this is one of Northern Italy’s best whites. Especially when you look at the price and the accessibility.

Serafini & Vidotto

Il Rosso dell' Abazia Nervesa Della Batteglia Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2016

Nicely balanced Northern Italian red assemblage. Good fruit, with a citrus intro leading to mostly darker berries. Tannins are present. Some lighter graphite, wet wood chips and tobacco undertones. Taste persists well onto the palate, and pleasantly fills the mouth afterwards. Could probably have let this sit another five years — 3 days ago

Tenuta Sant'Antonio

Scaia Veneto Corvina 2018

Bargain of the year! This Corvina sings with bright strawberry and currant, dry tannic structure, and subtle leather/spice. Great with bruschetta or pizza! — 6 days ago

Valpolicella Superiore Corvina Blend 2015

Another outstanding vintage of this classic Valpo! Dark purple color. Busy nose and pallet of fresh and dried fruits including currants, dates, prunes and a hint of pomegranate seeds. Big, and intensely concentrated but the tannins are surprisingly soft. Long and bold finish. A fruit forward wine lover’s dream wine. Thank You Kasey and Petey. — 10 days ago
