This is wonderful. The nose is a cross between pax hillsides, Vieux telegraph la crau, and oregon pinot. Love it. So light and complex. Tons of earth, flowers fresh and dried, strawberries, mint, blackberry, very light touch of leather, lavender. Just keeps going. Will enjoy this evolution and want to try next to some other wines. — 6 months ago
Really great wine; savory, structured and great — 4 years ago
Loving this. Fruit but balanced. Would like to have again. — 20 days ago
Monthly WTF wine group meet up. This month is new world vs old world Rhône’s. All wines tasted blind. 3 flights.
I called this old world Syrah. Checks off all the boxes for a C-H. This had more meat and acidity than the Pax it was poured alongside. Similar dark red fruit profile. Thanks @Michael Rariden — 3 years ago
2019 vintage. Truthfully, I have underscored this wine the last two times I’ve had it (this last Nov and 3 weeks ago). Scored it 9.3 both times but it’s a 9.5. It just keeps impressing. Body is biggish but never syrupy/overwhelming. Flavors and textures come hurtling into your palate. This is so well made and delicious. — 4 months ago
