2020/4. Quite floral - I’d like to try this again next to some Palazzone, which I remember as much more nutty. — 2 years ago
N: lemons with saline and white flowers
P: refreshing and bright, crisp with a little fleshy fruit on the mid palate. Lots of lemon, hint of white peach, lots of salinity, maybe a hint of cheese rind , almond, and green herbs

Nice Orvieto bit funky but silky as — 2 years ago
A very nice Orvieto. Light & bright at first, nice finish, went well with rich cheeses and Genoa samlami. Makes me remember wild boar ragu — drank after left out of refrigerator for 1 hour. — 2 years ago

Marchesi Antinori ‘San Giovanni della Sala’ Orvieto Classico Superiore 2018: Medium-light bodied. Medium intense aromas. Lively acidity with a clean, fresh & fruity taste. Citrus, pear, white peach & subtle minerals on the palate. Long balanced finish. All in all, this was an excellent Grechetto white blend from the Umbria region of Italy and another Antinori winner with great QPR. Go find yourself a bottle & enjoy. You won’t regret it! Great day to all! Cheers🍷 — 15 days ago
