Cascade Cliffs

Syrah 2018

Every time I try this wine, I like it a little more. It just goes with anything, particularly complimentary with gourmet pizza. Sharing it with friends gets rave reviews. — 2 months ago

Malvalias White Blend 2017

Fascinating and lovely. Light bodied, jasmine, apple, ocean cliffs, and a lingering finish that is all love. Give me more of this all day. — a year ago

Columbia Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Delicious juicy and rich red. A barbera I can get on board with! — a year ago

Anima Negra

ÀN/2 Callet Blend

Wow this is neat wine from Mallorca.

Smells as if it has been filtered through cavernous cliffs. The fruit is all flinty, bright, and interesting. Lots of pit and rind, a great wine that showcases how well wines can grow and absorb the ocean air. The Saline shows itself in the wine, if only slightly.
Enjoyed at one of José Andrés fine establishments.

Cascade Cliffs

Columbia Valley Barbera

The 2018 Barbera is nice and fruity. Cascade Cliffs has an abundance of Barberas to choose from (never an over-abundance😂). Just did a Coravin tasting of every Barbera I own, and the 2018 Blood Red Barbera from Horse Heaven Hills topped my palette, followed by the 2016 Horse Heaven Hills Barberas. — 3 months ago

Cascade Cliffs

Columbia Valley Tempranillo 2016

Great light bodied wine! Asparagus nose that yields a whole lot more on the palette. — a year ago

Clos Saint-Joseph

Villars-sur-Var White Rhone Blend 2017

Pure and textured. Saline. Unfined and unfiltered. Grown high on craggy limestone cliffs. Rock terroir. Semillon, vermentino, ugni blanc. — a year ago

Fontan Avecchia

Falanghina del Sannio 2018

Opens with hints of lime and sea breeze on the nose, this wonderful white is fruit driven and finishes with a zippy saline finish. Takes me back to watching the sunset over the cliffs in Positano! — 4 months ago

Kumeu Village

Chardonnay 2017

Cliffs notes from the back label: sustainably farmed, hand harvested, whole cluster, wild yeast, extended maturation on lees. Bright and lemony, tastes like village style burgundy except it’s from the north Island of NZ. $20. — a year ago
