Gorgeous floral bouquet features red roses, lilac, lavender and cherry blossoms above ripe red and black cherry, ripe raspberry, grilled watermelon and morels. Tart cherry palate dials into the silky groove suddenly, hinting at rose water, but resembling raspberries in a forest rain. Lightest cinnamon bark adds warmth, violet and hibiscus bites emerge, and the whole flaunts a long and sensuous length of shimmer that mystifies.

Little tart with noticeable tannins — 3 months ago
Upon uncorking the bottle, we felt it was the most structured and bold out of all the wines. Poured into the decanter and revisited after two hours. By then the nose had blossomed into seductive aromas of red cherries and earth, which made us all point to GC in the blind tasting. As the Mugnier developed over the course of the evening, this kept singing and staying linear as indicative of it's youth. Second favorite WOTN. — 5 years ago
Initial notes of honeysuckle and mineral, also white flowers - Barb thought daisies. A lovely Premier Cru white burgundy. Sweetish palate. I haven’t had a lot of experience with white burgundies from Nuits St Georges so not sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. Admittedly from a well credentialed producer. — 2 months ago
Celebrate birthday, the 2007 DJP Musigny drinking nicely, smooth and savory. But as comparison wise , I love the Jacques Fredric Mugnier Nuits-St-Georges 2014 better than this. — 7 months ago
