Fresh and tart, classic. Rose hip, lime zest nose. Sour cherry, clementine on the end. River stone or a little minerality. Drank at Verre Volé our last night in Paris in 2023. Recommended by the somm. — 9 days ago
Seems much better than last tasting, very enjoyable drinking tonight. Nose of garrigue, stewed dark plum and cedar, then chewy red and black fruit, liquorice, hint of chocolate and a firm finish on the palate. It unfolds in the mouth. Lovely stuff. — 8 days ago
More than 2 years since the last bottle in the case. On opening tasted rich, with tea and maybe a hint of balsamic, some oaky fruit. But after an hour and a half in the decanter, and with steaks and mushroomes and veg, it came across as a lot of graphite and earth and dark black fruit. Very good , though not a stunner. — a month ago
A delicious Bordeaux that got better as it opened up. Not mind blowing but subtle and balanced and a joy to drink — 2 days ago
Cedar and olive brine, a bit dusty, probably nearing end of life, but still tasty! — 15 days ago

Insane! The purity and intensity…nobody makes wines like the ‘GodFather’ of Burgundy! — 19 hours ago
