Gordon Brothers

Tradition Columbia Valley Red Bordeaux Blend 2016

Deep garnet purple. Abundant nose of black currant and cherry. Echoed on the nose adding a hint of vanilla and red apple peel, and darkening the cherry. Medium tannins (even at room temperature), medium acidity. Moderate finish accentuates the appley notes. Great Columbia Valley red that makes the perfect bridge between California and Bordeaux. Ready for steak, burgers, beef stew, or any other hearty red wine fare. Drink now through 2026. — 13 days ago

This one took me by surprise. Very dense dark wine. 14.6% good full flavors. Nothing petite with this one. 👍🏻 — 7 days ago

Gordon + Bitner Block Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

v16. This is a nice wine!! Soft eucalyptus, bell pepper and cedar nose. Thick, deep, rich, blackberry, black currant and plum fruit. Velvety smooth finish. Nicely balanced. — a month ago

Parcela Única Alvarinho

Vinho Verde...Iberian 2nd Division for Green Wine. Well, it’s a subtlety acidic and sweet concoction derived from something green...hence, what can go wrong? I can’t help but to rate this one high, as it was the great Gordon Gecko who once stated, “green is good”. — 7 months ago

Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Strong on the nose. Rich, leathery tannins.
Black fruit, lots of good structure and a long chocolately finish. A gasoline note exists which is very inviting.
Juicy baby!
Characterizes the grape really well

Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2012

A tasting of nine 2012 Sonoma Coast Pinots. Found this to be drier and less interesting than the others. #8 for the group. — 4 months ago
