Light fruit, earthy/mineral chalky finish. — 19 days ago
Been loving myself some Washington juice. This Cab (with a splash of petit Verdot) is a monster, coming in at 14.9% alcohol and clearly not lacking for any ripeness in a typically-tough 2011 vintage. Lots of cedar, charred oak, vanilla, and herbal goodness on the nose. The palate is weighty and rich, but with a balancing acid. Loads of sweet Asian spice (almost like the Asian Zing sauce at B-Dubs), cinnamon, and gobs of black fruit.. ala black cherry and blackberries. The cedar and spice keep playing a consistent tune on the nose, reminding me of the 2011 St. Juliens I've had lately.. especially Gloria. I'd love to try these two side by side. A really nice bottle. — 5 years ago
Yum! Grapefruit. — a day ago
Absolutely amazing full bodied with zero teeth. Enjoyed with TT over some incredible food after a road trip around Mallorca. 9.7 for me, rivals Amarone from Venice! — 3 days ago
August 11, 2020. Tucson. Full bodied, full of leather, dried herbs, some intense red fruit. Such a nice surprise! W/ Caitlin, Carl, Gloria, distancing outside after a desert rain. — 2 years ago

Pork chops, kale and Tuscan style beans. Earthy and cherry notes with a little smoke. Smooth finish. Drinks very nicely after so many years. — 2 days ago
