Don’t normally like a CA wine but very yummy ! — 19 days ago
Nice vanilla, cherry, cola notes. Well-balanced and well-integrated oak. Went well with meatloaf and friends. From Chris Lynch’s parents to Wes and Elizabeth. — a month ago
Bolder Pinot taste than most, some good acid. I’ll try it again in a few years! — a month ago

Drank on 5/23/21
Bought from WineText, shared with Chris Lynch, Wes, Elizabeth and Riley at Wes and Elizabeth‘s.
There’s a spectrum of colored fruit to this well-balanced Cotes de Rousillon that I decanted for 15 minutes before drinking. The decanting did the wine some good, allowing the fruits to shine through the gaminess/leather on initial sniff. Ripe blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, currant, and graphite notes along with slight eucalyptus, licorice and black pepper notes.
The wine isn’t very elegant but has a strong “delicious” factor. Strong acidity, firm tannins, and medium-plus body went well with Riley’s NY strip steak topped with gorgonzola—served with corn and rice. A crowd pleaser. 95 points RP? Meh. — 2 months ago
