Big and bold with strong tannin and could have aged but I was thirsty and it’s delicious. Strong fruit and spicy finish — 7 years ago
Easy, balanced, Inoffensive. A better wine with acidic foods. — 8 years ago
As a lover of Chianti Classico’s, this particularly dry Sangiovese is fantastic. Great bottle for the price. — 8 years ago
Aromas of strawberry and raspberry. Light bodied, and very fruity on the palate, smooth and lightly delicate in the finish. Nicely balanced. Easy drinking California Grenache. — 4 months ago

Gorgeous CA Sauvignon Blanc - peaches & blossoms on the nose, with a fruity, dry palate and an abrupt, tart finish. Lovvvvve it. — 8 years ago
Exceptional. Nice strawberry with hints of watermelon. The slight acid back one holds things together nicely. — 8 years ago
The label also says “Le Mourre de la Caille,” but I’m not sure if that’s just a motto for the domaine or it’s a different cuvée. It’s a 70/20/10 GSM. Only 14% alcohol. The nose is invitingly fruity, with deep spicy dark berry fruit and a little of the old time Southern Rhone iodiney minerality. Mouthfilling, with deeply fruity, low-toned dark berry fruity and savory flavors. It’s ripe but not too ripe or jammy. And there’s quite a bit of soft tannin buried under the fruit-alanche. I really like this. — 5 months ago
Bit drier than I like, but full bodied and tannic - a good balance of both James and I — 6 months ago

Nice and engaging. Spicy and fruit forward.

Doing a vineyard comparison with our excellent steak dinner - two 2013 Rudius - Farella and Kaley Elizabeth (this one). Everyone else prefers K.E., but I am leaning toward this one. — 3 months ago
