Beaux Frères

Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2017

Refined and bold and full of cherry and fruit right out of the bottle. Fabulous and big on the tongue. Lots of bold cherry and a bit of spice. Lovely linger on the tongue. Worked well with veg meal. — 8 days ago

Les Vignes d'Autrefois Extra Brut Champagne Pinot Meunier 2015

Super green with really long acids. Just ripe yellow orchard fruit and lemons on the palate accented with lime rind bitters. Intense minerals. — 18 days ago

Saint-Esprit Côtes du Rhône Red Rhone Blend 2018

2018 vintage. Definitely serviceable with a decent body and mouthfeel. Licorice/anise, dark cherry, cinnamon and big ripe plum flavors leap out. Harmonious. — 4 days ago

The Giant Pinot Noir 2018

Simply a beautiful Pinot Noir. Exceptional wine from Mikey Etzel. Approachable now but the two other bottles and the magnum I have promise to be amazing in years to come. — 16 days ago

2017 Vintage. 14.9% Alcohol. 56% Grenache, 22% Tempranillo and 22% Cabernet Sauvignon - all from Paso Robles. Unusual blend but this is surprisingly good. Smooth mouthfeel with great fruit and did not fade for a few days when.gassed and corked. — 16 days ago

La Landonne Côte-Rôtie Syrah 2013

Dark, angry, showing some structural stiffness for a bit. Unwound eventually, loved the dark and deep profile it has. The oak is a little pushy, but melted more into the wine after a couple hours. Smoke, roasted black cherry and cassis, forest, granite, beef, so much black pepper. — 25 days ago
