Best “under $20” bottle in quite some time. Heavy body, meaty and smoky. This wine will punch you in the face! — 4 months ago
2018 was a great find. Evocation of Madiran and Cahors wines, with Tannat and Malbec grapes. Very ripe black fruits, spices and toasted notes. Deep mouth and freshness well balanced. 17 is more flexible, is a bit more homogeneous and round. Definitely a very good quality / price / pleasure ratio.
— 8 months ago

Very out of my regional wheelhouse but I was great! Drinkable and full bodied dark fruit flavors — 5 years ago
The wine has a grassy note, but it's not the high grassy note of New Zealand. It's not the grassiness you smell when you have just cut the grass. There is more of an herbal edge to it, like the smell you get when you are pulling up weeds. Does that clarify for you? Good. I think my palate is coming unhitched from my brain. What I think I'm getting at is, there's an earthy sense to the grassiness here. On the palate the tropical fruit is definitely shaded by earth. It gives a wonderful display of pineapple, citrus and apples with just the right amount of earthiness. This wine, like the White Blend, is a great one for someone who thinks Sauvignon Blanc is too grassy. — 6 years ago
Always so pleasant to taste this beautiful Syrah from Morocco, both strong and very well balanced with these flowery aromas of violet and pepper. Cool to 15 degrees to balance the slightly marked alcoholic power.
— 7 months ago
strong scent of an old pine forest. Finish with a typical Mediterranean scent of burnt cigar. Less fruity than some French/Italian young reds but still easy to drink and doesn't lack the complexity like all young wineries do. — 5 years ago
