2020 Sauvignon Blanc from this obscure Loire tiny region. Every time I fancy myself as a Loire expert, I get sideswiped by something new and unexpected. This is a lean green restraint driven marvel. Chives, basil, underripe papaya on nose. White snd pink grapefruit rinds with lime peel mid palate. Everything is being held back with extreme tension. Pretty uncommon wine, unique find. Medium purple; on the nose, it has strong farm smells initially which do cease after a while and opens up to slight cherry, mushroom and some forest as well.
