Great red soft fruit flavor with solid tannins but not overwhelming. — 2 years ago
2005 vintage still great. Still some plum with tobacco, chocolate & lead notes. Very smooth and tannins are soft. — a month ago
Some say Nerello Mascalese is like a combination of Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo. In this case I’d say it’s all Pinot-characteristics that dominate. Sweet scent. Alot of ripe berries, cinnamon, nougat, black tea and a juicy texture. A fair share of french oak here, but not in a negative way. — 6 months ago
Love Cosentino! This one doesn't fail to deliver. Nose - blackberries, casis, little bit of boxwood, and a note from the Bourbon barrel. Taste - bit of black pepper, blackberries, strawberries, cherries. Slight influence of the Bourbon Barrel aging, but not the sweetness that often comes with that.
Very good, especially for the price. — 3 years ago
