Château Grand Mayne

Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

Trying another delicious Saint Emilion Bordeaux. Deep ruby red, cassis, black cherry, fig, dark chocolate, leather. Dusty tannins at first that fade into smooth drinking. — 10 days ago

Balanced deep dark fruits balanced tannins. I'm not overly experienced with great wines, but this is the best red I've ever had. — 10 months ago

2007 vintage. A lighter style with good acidity balancing the sweetness. Has some complexity, nice balance and good length. Great value at less than 20 euros for this wine at perfect maturity. — a year ago

2014 vintage. A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30%Merlot and equal parts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Aged 16 months in barriques (30% new). Cassis, cedar wood and a dash of clove and black pepper. Medium-bodied, with fresh fruit, tannin with a slightly rough edge, and good spicy length. Good value at 13 euros.
