Who knows what you’re going to get with an old white of a mostly unknown blend, but this was delicious! Took on hints of caramel and honey. Had to get a second glass. — 5 years ago
While I have great respect and appreciation for wines like these I simply don’t have the palate for them.
Iodine, beef blood, smoky BBQ. I’m sure this is lights out with a dry aged ribeye but a 2oz. pour is enough for me. Very reminiscent of the 1969 Colares I had a few months back. Properly stored. — 2 months ago
Full bodied and lingering complexity. A great blend that comes from the Baga grape unique to the region of Bairrada. If this was from Châteauneuf-du-Pape expect to pay 3x more. — 4 years ago
I may have had this before. If not, it reminded me of another delicious sparkling rosé I’ve had from Portugal. — 5 years ago
When somebody recommends a bottle of wine... you should listen.
