A wine I have had many times but my 1st time having it next to the Poggio Sotto. The Soldera is a completely different Brunello showing lots of cherry, strawberry fruits, leather, spice with floral tones in an elegant & silky style, complex & layered that reminds me of what Burlotto’s Monvigliero is to Barolo. Always a Burgundy lovers Brunello! — 11 days ago

Gorgeous. Sour cherry and crush stones. Immensely concentrated and sweet, but weightless. Finish goes on forever with great acid and silky tannins. My first Soldera and it exceeded immense expectations. — 3 months ago
I have never experienced such a great complexity. It shows complex array of mineral, dry herbs, rose petals, sweet spice combined with purely elegant red fruits. Length is quite long with lingering acidity and juicy fruits.
Tannins are integrated well, silky smooth texture. Pale colour, lifted aromas, elegant medium body seem to be PN, but vibrant backbone of acidity make this wine differentiate. Great wine. — 9 months ago
