Fait-Main Toyon Farm Chardonnay 2014

Ron R

Stunning, crystalline visual presentation. Leads into a honied, medium-weight palate. Lots of texture and layers meet soft acidity. Pineapple and guava dominate the finish. A sexy little beast for sure. This has arrived at its apex - drink now. — 7 days ago

Nice review!🍷

Benoit Roseau

Cuvée Patagone St. Joseph Syrah 2017

Nose is a bit funky and meaty (salami?), some spice or earthiness. Intriguing. Bitter cherry and some smoke with the meaty leathery undertone, substantial tannins but not overpowering or unbalanced. Lingers nicely. — 2 months ago

Bourgogne Aligoté 2018

A delicious Aligote that always delivers showing notes of citrus, tart fruit, crushed rock, saline with notes of steely, mineral, chalk & flint. — 14 days ago

@Ron Siegel Agee and reasonably priced. Drinking much more Aligote this summer after putting together a case of Aligote for my GF.

Toro Loco Superior Utiel-Requena Tempranillo 2019

Cor intensa mas não vibrante. Corpo médio. Aroma de frutas e um pouco de álcool. O sabor é de vinho maduro e com amadeirado bem evidente. — a month ago

Realm Cellars

La Fe Rosé Blend 2020

Shay A

Easy to trust Realm’s offerings as quality is always at a premium. I have to admit, my brain had a hard time connecting this type of rosé with Realm (based on their typical style).

My comment above isn’t meant to be good or bad, it’s just amazing that this Provençal type rosé could come from a bigger/powerful style Napa producer like Realm. Kudos to Benoit for knowing what he was going for and being able to create something (a beautiful rosé) from almost nothing (the extremely uneven 2020 vintage). I don’t think I could have called this rosé of merlot if I didn’t know beforehand. To me, this was a blend of high end Provençal rosé with Cayuse’s Edith rosé. Extremely pale salmon color in the glass with aromas of cantaloupe, white peach, faint dragon fruit and an herbal/mineral stony character. The palate here has nice gravitas and a surprising bite at the finish. Strawberry cream-lite, underripe kiwi and some nectarine on the finish. Much more enjoyable at cellar temp compared to being too cold. Don’t think this is one to hold, so enjoy now.

I like Realm’s work but had to pass on their Rosé at $60. Too many really good Rosés on the market under $40 and many under $30.

Agree with @David T !
