OMG. This wine is 1/2 price (30 dollars) at my fav wine store- AMAZING I am going tomorrow and buying every bottle they have. I can drink this every day it is amazing. That’s all I’m going to say. I would pay 150.00 for this wine!!!! — a month ago
Much better than the CAB from a few months ago. Turley - Fredericks Vineyards - 2016 Zinfandel. A spicy delightful zin! Still not the best Zin I have ever had. It has a slightly sour finish but good spice and oak in the front. I want to try the petite Syrah! — a month ago
The Calling from Alexander Valley. Cherry pie bouquet. The initial thought on the palate is black cherry , maybe because it was described on the back of the bottle. Then blackberry comes to mind, and a sweet passion fruit hint on the back end. This is a perfect sweet to a dry wine. Then comes the chocolate and ripe fig. Now as this dissipates the Earthy ending, moderately dry finish takes over. And yes, the aroma of sweet pipe tobacco lingers in the nose from the aromas escaping the palate. This is a great wine. I highly recommend it. Cheers! — 2 months ago
Wow!!! All I have to say is it is worth every penny!!!!The perfect opaque patina against the glass. The bouquet is exquisite. Lavendar and black licorice. The initial palate is delivering explosions of blackberry , dark currant, and black cherry. Just like the color of the wine. And my senses are going wild. Sight, smell, taste : this is a true indulgence. This is what I love about the St Helena area of California. In the middle comes the chocolate and the graphite soil not to mention tobacco and the sensation of brown moss on a giant oak. You can almost crunch this wine in your mouth. The finish is pure butter with a tingle on the tip of my tongue that makes me crazy for more. If you’re tired of the same old same old wine like I am, you must splurge for this amazing 2016, yes I said 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon from Boich family cellars. I promise it is worth every penny and you will not be disappointed. No, I have no affiliation with the winery but boy I wish I did! MASTERPIECE! Great job Boich family!!! I’m coming to California to visit your winery! — a month ago
Far Niente 2014 NAPA Oakville Cab Sav. Blackberry jam bouquet. Dark berry palate with spice and cigar followed by smoky oak and a tart finish that lingers for a good three minutes. For the price, NOT WORTH $200.00! Maybe $150.00. :-)... — 2 months ago
