This was a lovely, vivacious and fresh bottle. Floral. Blend of Pinot Gris and Riesling. Varietal character not evident and a little kombucha-like, but I like kombucha :-) — 6 years ago

Delicious wine from Matt Taylor. Light in color and alcohol, packed with flavor and elegance, fresh tannins, beautiful notes of pomegranate, tart cherries. — 10 months ago
First Daou in a long time. Surprised at the elegance of this Paso Cabernet. Over delivers at price pint. 2018 Reserve. — 5 years ago
Spicy Pinot with nice tannin structure and balance. Earthy. Broad. Still tight, would wait a few more years for the next bottle. — 6 years ago
Lanolin, dried citrus peel/orange marmalade, toast with a bit of umami. Almonds. Delicious. — 7 years ago
Bought a case and probably stored it for too long in my wine locker. The wine seems to be fermenting again in the bottle. Has spritz. Maybe VA. I opened three and it’s all the same. it is not terrible if you like funk and has some nice cherry notes..decant and serving chilled… — a year ago
2016 vintage. Bay leaf, smoke, garrigue. Meaty and delicious. — 6 years ago

I had a bottle of this tonight at a restaurant in New York. It’s showed delicious notes of raspberries, violet, and some orange peel. It was a little bit open knit for such a young vintage, perhaps not as complex and structured as I would expect, which makes this a “drink now” proposition imo. — 14 days ago
