Lovely red fruits and very gentle, lipstick like intensity, juicy and so clean, textured and velvety wispy tannins.

Stunning nose. So tangy with early to midseason cherries. Spice and limestone galore. Really vibrant with incredible lift. Heavy cherryness. Ripe. Gorgeous. Palate is round, juicy and very tangy. Salty and pure. Lovely freshness. All tangy mid season red cherries and wonderful brightness. A summer Pinot. A beautiful lipstick like intensity to the nose. Gorgeous fruit density and texture. Unreal juiciness. Just explosive. A brilliant Tschuppen.

From Baden at Swiss border, hand-picked Pinot Noir grown on lime stone, fermented with natural yeasts and with 22 mo aging in 225 liter barrels. Red lightly viscous unfiltered; nose of ripe strawberries, chocolate, and earthy sulphury spicy notes - the good kind; although low on alcohol (12%) the taste is satisfying, has ample acids, and is carried into a long finish on the back of straw- and lingon-berries and a touch of oak-spices.

Gorgeous Spätburgunder and an outright steal. Sour cherry fruit, tobacco leaf, juniper berry, licorice and dried herbs. Very fresh and vibrant, clean fruit on the palate with slightly nervy energy but also a surprising amount of depth.

WOW. Funk to open but then all the cool climate (but ripe!) pinot chords of pine, wet leaf, tart cherry, damson plum, and mint. Along with a bit of a not-unpleasant phenolic rubbery aroma. Which doesn’t stop this from reading as clean and crystal clear. In the mouth it’s long, streaky, and filled with red, juicy acids.
Excellent producer, and a great vintage. Maybe the terroir is only just good, but this winds up being an exceptional bottle of wine and a fantastic value. Screw cap. 9.4+

Wow, what a nose. Sickness. Huge berry/cherry fruit. Spice galore. Very pungent. Like a great Vosne Romanee. Juicy and very complex. But so lithe and elegant, and packed with red fruits. Village level. Huge fruit, delicious. Sick inner mouth aromas. So drinkable. So persistent.

Can use a few hours to open up-to lose some of its funk and to unfold it's many layers. Svelte tannins and refreshing acidity give this wine serious sip-ability.
