In a great spot. Big explosive and feral nose. Almost sinewy. Floral, tart cherries, a wildness but also so expressive: Perfumed. Huge mineral background. But the palate is just god tier. So much sweet tangy fruit backed up by just incredible energy. Gets to every nook and cranny. So juicy. Unreal finish. So elegant in the midpalate. Unreal explosiveness and that tart sweetness is crazy and uniquely German. This is insane.

Gorgeous wine as usual. Pungent, high toned and very floral nose. Red cherries, sour cherries. Just soaring. Layered, so detailed with just incredible clarity. Palate is just awesome. So complete. Amazingly fresh and nimble. So stunningly pure. Washes with delicate and elegant minerals. Wow. Truly blowing me away. Such delicacy. Strong but elegant and ripe tannins. So pure. Really just a wonderful Jaspis. And pretty accessible. Beautiful smokiness to the nose. Hint of oak but also just like a Smokey bbq. Remarkable. The freshness is crazy on this. Just bursting. What a showing. Absurdly great. Concentrated and authoritative. It knows it’s great and let’s you know it. Right out of the bottle.

This will be much better in 24 hours. But it’s really impressive. I find the serious Zieriesen wines need 24 hours to show. Nose is super floral. Lovely pure and detailed red cherry. Tangy. Even some citrus. The floral hit makes this stand out. This has a mindblowing nose. Perfume. Mineral. Just gorgeous. Palate has extraordinary fruit. Juicy and textured with stunning detail and gentle but there extraction. Really incredible palate presence. Long. Obviously young but man this is elite in every way. Brilliant wine. More layer.

Always so rock solid. Serious deep tiny berry fruit, elegant nimble structure and wonderful freshness. Seemed slightly closed to me. Wait 2-3 years. Classic Jaspis.

Nice but compared to Vosne of the night more NSG like and could not compete at that level.

Quite bold and extracted reminds me of Denis Mortet. Essentially at the same level - and blind I would guess this is a Burgh. Dark cherry, hint lime, graphite, back palate sour green apple, seems closed and might need more air. Stylistically I prefer E&M. After days under Argon mellowed out and further improved +1.

Tight on open.

Has some oak. I’d give this 3 years.

Palate is intense cherry. Juicy. Great grip.

Will be very good in 3 years.

90 minutes in this is very good. That ziereisen intensity. Wow. Has that savory quality. Nose is getting that plummy spicy elegance. Ziereisen genius.
