Ripa Sinistra Vin de Pays des Collines Rhodaniennes Syrah
Young but showing lovely aromatics of earth and dark fruit. Needs time, but a very nice wine.

Sep 25th, 2017At a good spot right now. I remember the '06 from two years ago as too lean and sharp for me; I like this one better. A whiff of Brett doesn't detract too much; nice complexity and cool-climate Syrah traits. Fruit, acidity and tannins are in a very nice, food-friendly harmony.

Apr 5th, 2016Fantastic wine. A little bigger than previous vintages (which is good for me). Full of pepper, red fruits, earthy complexity.
