The bodega is located in the Carravacas estate (Laguardia) in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa. 100% Tempranillo and aged in 100% French Oak. Dark red with aromas of sweet Red berry fruits and beautiful floral spice. On the palate raspberry and blackberry flavors with vanilla spice and notes of cacao. Well balanced with lively acidity, soft tannins will only get better, lingering ending with sweet fruit and spice character. Nice! Tasting Sample!

Brought back this 2006 reserva from the vineyard after a visit in 2012. Dark fruit on the palate, 14% abv, complex, slightly earthy, little notes of popcorn and dark fruit, great food wine** had at home with family after Christmas in 2014

Ruby with dark edges from 100% Tempranillo grapes, 30 year-old vines, and aged in French and Hungarian oak. Aromas of black fruit and spice. On the palate blackberry and cherry flavors surrounded by integrated fine tannins. Almost creamy on the finish ending with some cacao and oak notes.

Oct 27th, 2016Just had a glass at a restaurant in New Orleans. Everything you can think of a Cabernet Sauvignon nose, and it lasted ever so slightly on the tongue. Really good, really dry. ¡Me gusta!

Magnifico Rioja de color rojo cereza con ribete teja. En nariz frutas rojas , madera, quizas con un fondo mentolado???. Buena entrada en boca, golosa, equilibrada, frambuesa muy muy rica. El final es largo con la acidez justa . Muy rico. Recomendable
