a classic mid level blend from yatir, a deserty foresty big Israeli winery which is part of carmel, israel's biggest wine producer.

dense purpulish red with firm medium legs 👀

ripe cherry, dried prunes and dusted pepper👃

medium body.
medium acidity.

the ripe cherry tartness comes first.
followed by some bold fruit mostly red with some black berries added.
always felt are too much pepper and other assorted spice varaiety, the kind u purchase at a bad tourist shop to bring a present from a trip abroad to someone u are obliged to gift. some greeness hinted as well👄

medium finish with silky but not too enjoyable tannins 🎯

not terrible, but not impressive at all.

ok minus vfm (2 bottles for 150 nis on sale. regular price is 100)

had it with ordinary dinner of omelette, 🥨, smoked salmon, ricotta cheese and some red 🥔peel chips and oven baked curry spiced zukini and red 🥔(without the mentioned peels).
the baked vegetables made it sweeter. ricotta made it silkier.

nothing special but no harm done.

48 hours later (i was busy with avi feldstein's whites) the wine became rounder with mostly fruity 👄
a nice surprise!
i would rate it 9.0 if it was like that to begin with
