The Musketeer Russian River Valley Tannat
Ruby purple. Black and purple fruit on the nose and palate. Medium plus tannins and medium acidity. Tasty where you'd normally serve Cabernet Sauvignon.

Jun 5th, 2017Transparent ruby garnet in the glass. Initially shy nose opens up to meaty menthol and black fruit. Medium acidity is held in check. Medium full mouthfeel. Dark toast and blackberries on the palate. Medium tannins that don't attack you on entry. A rare finesse from this werewolf of a grape. Should handle red meat just fine.

Jan 24th, 2016What a delightful surprise. I expected rustic and rough, but was met with polish and restraint. Concentrated, sleek, balanced. 13.9%abv of juicy goodness. This is definitely something I want to have around.
