Red/black cherry, slightly black pepper, mint/ black berry, black currant, blue berry, vanilla, licorice, a touch of savoriness, olive, cured meat, med plus tannin, med plus body. Not bad.

This bottle runs us about $7 at the military instillation and have never seen it elsewhere. It’s easy to drink alone or with food. One of our favorite reds!

I miss bit more peppery spiciness, lightly underlined tannins and a at least touch of old world earthiness and austerity - it is fruity side of Syrah/Shiraz, almost like a sour cherry confiture with sweeter black dried plum or ripe blackberry addition, another cons weaker nose (mainly some blackberries), but smooth and balanced body - easy sipper even on its own, and good value for money.
